How does the alarm mode work?
Alarm mode is activated and deactivated by holding button for 3 sec. When mode is activated RED LED light will be visible for 5 sec. and small alarm icon will show up. Device will start buzzing every 1min and LED will blink red for 3 sec every 1min when your CO2 level exceeds 1000 ppm. When your CO2 level exceed 1200 ppm buzzer will alarm every 5 sec and RED LED will be blinking constantly. It’s an alarm that room needs ventilation to remove any aerosols from the air as soon as possible. You can stop alarm by pressing button 1x and it will be deactivated and will auto activate again when CO2 level drops bellow 800 ppm, if not turned off.
Would I need more devices for a large room?
In order to achieve maximum measurement accuracy, we recommend using 1x Luxafor CO2 Monitor per <500m sq.m. (<5,300 sq.ft.) of space. However, since CO2 is a gas and distributes evenly around the space, the space size isn’t necessarily a factor that affects CO2 measurements.
Do I need software for it to work?
No, Luxafor CO2 Monitor is a standalone Gadget.
Can I use my own USB cable to power Luxafor CO2 Monitor?
