We highly advise not to use your computer USB slots for charging your Power Bank as it might result in a much slower and less energy-efficient charging process. In some cases, the Power Bank can be even charged insufficiently, therefore, decreasing its use time and affecting the lifetime of the battery.
To ensure the safety of the delivery, the Power Bank is usually being shipped almost empty, therefore, prior to use, charge the Power Bank unit by connecting the included charging cable into a USB power outlet such as a USB charger, and plug the other end into the Power Bank’s micro USB charging port.
The LED indicator inside the Power Bank will blink with a faint red light showing that the unit is being charged. You can find the LED behind the magnet and it is best seen in the dark. When charging is complete, the LED indicator will go solid red. Charging time is approx. 3 - 5 h.
During the first charging after receiving your Power Bank it may take a bit longer for the red LED light to appear and start blinking, therefore, please allow it to be attached to the power source for at least 20 minutes before assuming that it is broken.
If your Power Bank does not perform as expected please follow a few troubleshooting steps to check if there is an issue that can be fixed remotely or you should contact our Customer Support for assistance:
If the troubleshooting steps did not help and the issue still persists or your issue is very specific, please follow the guidelines below to report the issue in a way that will allow us to resolve it ASAP.
In the contact form (accessible by pressing "Contact Us" below or "Contact" and the top right corner of the window):
Please provide your name and company (if applicable);
In the "Message" space please describe the issue with as many details as possible. The description should include (but not limited to) answers to the following questions:
Was the purchase made on our online shop or on Amazon?
Is this a physical or a software issue?
Which troubleshooting steps you have made already?
If this is a software issue - which OS you are using?
Your order number (if applicable) and date;
Please provide any physical evidence (print screens, pictures, videos) where the issue can be seen clearly. If the report is about a connection, a video should be taken on how the device reacts exactly at the moment of the connection. If the issue involves both Luxafor software and Luxafor hardware - both parts should be clearly seen in the video in a way that best describes the issue.
Please note, that upon necessity we might ask additional questions to clarify the details of the situation. Your cooperation and patience during the investigation process are much appreciated!
The battery duration for Luxafor Power Bank varies depending on multiple variables, including the colors used, the brightness of LEDs, and if used continuously or infrequently.
Tip: If you would like to increase the battery life of your Luxafor Power Bank, decrease the brightness level in the Luxafor Software

Luxafor Flag is an electronic device that shows the user's availability status with the help of colored LED lights.
*There are two USB cable lengths - 0.5 m (20”) and 1.5 m (60”), therefore, make sure you choose the one that fits you best!
Luxafor Switch is an electronic LED device that in comparison to Luxafor Flag and Luxafor Bluetooth does not use Luxafor Software to change the colors in order to notify the availability status of a user or spaces.
It is wireless, remote-controlled, and can be equally used for notifying about the availability status of individual people or the availability of spaces, like, workstations, conference, and meeting rooms.
Luxafor Switch has 4 pre-set color modes that cannot be modified or customized: Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue. The Switch Cube is the remote control of the device and the colors are being changed by putting the Cube sideways. For more information about how to use the Luxafor Switch please read Luxafor Switch setup and use.
With one Switch Cube, it is possible to control only one Dot at a time! Switch Cube cannot be used to control Luxafor Bluetooth or integrate with any software.
Luxafor Bluetooth devices use Bluetooth 4.0, 4.1, and 5.2 versions.
Since Bluetooth is not a line-of-sight wireless technology, a clear path from the receiving end to the transmitter is not necessary in order to receive a strong Bluetooth signal. Despite the fact that most Bluetooth devices, such as smartphones and desktops, can support up to 8 simultaneous connections, they may affect the Luxafor Bluetooth devices, as well as microwaves, baby monitors, and other household gadgets that all use the 2.4 GHz radio frequency range.
The effective range of a dependable Bluetooth connection is influenced by a number of essential parameters, including the following:
The radio spectrum stretches from 30 Hz to 300 GHz. The lower the frequency the longer the range. However, the lower the frequency the lower the data rate it can support. As a result, selecting a radio spectrum comes with tradeoffs between range and data rate.
The effective antenna gain is relevant for both the transmitting and receiving antenna. The directional influence of an antenna is similar to speaking or listening through a cone to focus the energy of the sound.
For the best Bluetooth antenna connection, the Dot and Dongle for the Bluetooth device set should be placed like in the picture below:
Path loss is the signal intensity loss that happens as a radio wave travels through the atmosphere. The environment in which the signal is being sent has an impact on path loss, also known as path attenuation, which happens naturally over distance. The signal may be affected by obstructions in the path between the transmitter and the receiver.
Humidity, precipitation, walls, windows, and other obstructions consisting of glass, wood, metal, or concrete are all examples of attenuators, as are metal towers or panels that reflect and scatter radio signals. Although radio waves can flow through things, the kind and density of the obstacle affect how much attenuation and effective path loss occurs.
