Control Your Luxafor Device from Your Phone
We’re excited to introduce a new feature that gives you even more flexibility when using your Luxafor device. You can now control the color of your Luxafor device connected to your computer directly from the Luxafor phone app!
How It Works
Setting it up is quick and easy:
1️⃣ Open the Luxafor app on your phone. Available for Android & Apple.
2️⃣ Go to the Settings tab (gear icon) and toggle on “Allow to send commands to computer.”
3️⃣ Tap the smaller gear icon next to the toggle. A window will open with instructions.
4️⃣ Tap the QR code icon to open your phone’s camera.
5️⃣ On your computer, open the Luxafor software for the computer and go to the Webhook tab.
6️⃣ Scan the QR code displayed in the Webhook tab with your phone.
✅ That’s it! You can now change the solid color of your Luxafor device connected to your computer from your phone app.
Important: Your phone can send commands only while the Webhook tab is open in the Luxafor computer app. To use other features like MS Teams to control your busy light, switch to the relevant tab in the app.
Since the Luxafor device that’s connected to your computer is controlled with webhooks, it only needs an internet connection. No Bluetooth range limitations.
